Cargo to Nigeria from Lewisham

Barrels, boxes and parcels to Nigeria collected across Lewisham.

Lewisham has 9,278 Nigeria-born residents, the fourth largest community we serve. Sitting between Southwark and Greenwich, it forms part of the densest Nigerian belt in the country. We collect across Catford, Deptford, New Cross and the whole borough.

Lewisham sits in the middle of south-east London's Nigerian belt — Southwark on one side, Greenwich on the other, and a substantial community of its own in between.

Deptford and New Cross at the northern end shade into Peckham; Catford and Forest Hill further south are more residential and family-oriented. We collect across all of it.

Population figures on this page are from the ONS 2021 Census (country of birth: Nigeria).

About Lewisham

Deptford High Street market and Lewisham town centre are the practical hubs, and a lot of what gets packed into barrels here is bought within walking distance of them.

Because Lewisham sits between two of our three busiest boroughs, collections here slot easily into runs we are already making across south-east London.

What people here usually send

Family barrels of food, clothing and household goods
Parcels and small boxes by air
Student shipments — Goldsmiths and the wider south-east London student population
Household goods for relocations

Lewisham is one of the places we serve in London — see cargo to Nigeria from London for every town we collect from, or browse all our collection areas. Rates are the same wherever we collect: see the Nigeria shipping price list.
