How we work together · Updated 19 August 2026
These are the terms on which GBAS Worldwide Ltd (Company No. 16358607) collects, ships and delivers cargo from England to Nigeria. Booking a shipment with us means accepting them. If anything here does not match what you were told, tell us before you book — call 07459 488491 or email [email protected].
Payment is arranged directly with us once you accept a quote. No payment is taken through this website. Any Nigerian import duty, VAT or port charge assessed by the Nigeria Customs Service is separate from our charges and is the importer's responsibility.
Nigeria Customs prohibits a range of imports, and airlines apply their own dangerous-goods rules. We cannot carry prohibited items, and we may refuse or remove anything we reasonably believe is unsafe, illegal or misdeclared. Check anything you are unsure about with our items checker before packing, or ask us.
If a shipment is seized, refused or destroyed by customs because of what was in it, the charges already paid are not refundable.
Air freight is typically 7 working days door to door and sea freight typically 4–6 weeks, both including customs clearance and final delivery. These are realistic estimates based on how the route actually runs — they are not guarantees. Port congestion at Apapa and Tin Can Island, customs inspections, flight and sailing schedules and weather can all extend them. Where we know a delay is likely, we tell you rather than promise a date we cannot hold.
We deliver to the address you gave us. If nobody can receive the cargo, or the address or phone number is wrong, we will contact you to arrange redelivery, which may be charged. A shipment may be received by someone other than the named recipient where you have told us so in advance.
Cover is arranged per shipment rather than applied automatically, and is particularly worth discussing for high-value goods. Ask us about cover when you book and we will tell you what applies to your consignment and what it costs before you commit. Always declare high-value items honestly — an undeclared item cannot be covered.
Tell us as soon as possible — call 07459 488491, WhatsApp +44 7459 488491 or email [email protected]. We would rather hear about a problem early, while we can still do something about it.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any right you have as a consumer under UK law.
