Cargo to Nigeria from Newham

Cargo to Nigeria collected across Newham, East Ham and Stratford.

Newham has 5,813 Nigeria-born residents and is among the most diverse boroughs in the country. We collect across East Ham, Stratford, Forest Gate and the whole borough — barrels, boxes, parcels and vehicles, to our Lagos office or on to any of the 36 states.

Newham is our neighbour. East Ham, Forest Gate and Plaistow sit just west of Barking, which makes this one of the easiest boroughs for us to reach and one we collect from constantly.

The borough is among the most diverse in Britain, and the Nigerian community here is long-established rather than new.

Population figures on this page are from the ONS 2021 Census (country of birth: Nigeria).

About Newham

Green Street and East Ham High Street North are the commercial spine — a long run of shops serving West African and South Asian communities, and the source of a good deal of what ends up in barrels leaving this borough.

Stratford at the northern end has changed dramatically since the Olympics, bringing a younger, more transient population and with it more parcels and student shipments alongside the family cargo.

What people here usually send

Family barrels — food, clothing, household goods
Parcels and documents by air
Student and young-professional shipments from Stratford
Vehicles through the Thames ports
